Douglas Carswell Has Got The Society He Wants, Of Course We Hate The Fucking Rich

What these people do not seem to realise is something I have said for decades.

A happy workforce is a productive workforce. Give us decent wages and conditions and the majority will be satisfied if they can pay their bills, save a little and enjoy a little. Trying to hold down wages to increase personal pelf and using the whip hand of job insecurity to ensure productivity results in an unhappy workforce that doesn’t give a damn about the quantity or the quality of the goods and services they produce.

This can be extended to the population in general. Give us decent wages and conditions, a welfare state that supports those that need it and that allows them some dignity, a decent education system for our children and most of us won’t care how rich you are.

But when an employer tries to crush the last drop from his employees for subsistence wages, when a government tries to enrich not only the bankers, industrialist and the idle rich but themselves too, all at the expense of the poor, they produce me and millions like me.

Militant trade’s unionists and socialists who want their massive wealth redistributed much further than allowing us a decent life would cost them.

Former Tory and now UKIP opportunist Douglas Carswell, who has been whining in the press after being jostled and shouted at during yesterday’s fuck the tories protest, has got the world he wants.  In a society where the poorest are ground into the dirt whilst the rich live in unimaginable luxury it is inevitable that the wealthy will become despised.  As ever more people see their lives demolished by poverty pay, benefit cuts, forced work and soaring housing costs then it is no surprise that…
