Was Christ a revolutionary?

with one comment

I think if we were in pre- AD Jerusalem, Cameron, Osborne and Drunken-Smith would be busy at the temple, Christ would tip over their tables, laden with ill-gotten gains; they would take him to the judiciary who, in cahoots with them would sentence him to a prolonged and painful death.

Both parties would claim the other was at fault, but both equally guilty.

And the poor would still be poor; the disenfranchised still so; the rich still laughing.

We all need to be a sort of Christ, and fight inequality wherever we find it, as best we can.

Was Christ a revolutionary? Bet your ass he was!
