SMILING CARCASS'S TWO-PENNETH

Commenting on social, political, economic and general topics

When did it start?

It’s very cold; been to Brum today and am little the worse for wear.

Got back to Tamworth, few pints here and tried to get a taxi- but at 7 o’clock, it’s pretty much impossible.

So I walked home- so cold.

Now back in my lovely warm house, I wonder, how will the homeless cope with this weather?

How will the mother with no money for heating warm her children?

How did we become this uncaring country, where attempting to stop the 0.7% of scroungers mean genuinely disadvantaged people are held up as icons of ‘Benefits Britain’ and effectively refused help?

When did we stop loving our neighbours?
