SMILING CARCASS'S TWO-PENNETH

Give peace a chance.

The great man Martin Luther King once made a speech.

In this speech he said “I have a dream that one day, down in Alabama… little black boys and black girls will be able to join hands with little white boys and white girls as sisters and brothers. I have a dream today!”

His dream is far from being true. Not just in Alabama, but throughout the world.

Muslims hating Muslims; Christians hating Christians.

Hate- it is so easy to hate. Try a bit of love- try to see through the colour, the faith.

Lennon said it best when he wrote “give peace a chance.”

  1. Although this would be wonderful, it will never happen. Mankind will always have the bullies, the rich, the faiths etc. Mankind will always want war 😦

    • Now go and check the current definition of institutional racism, as outlined in the Macpherson report following the accusation of police racism after the murder of Stephen Laurence. I can’t be bothered to explain the details in a blog where I am likely to be censored. But Martin Luther King would be regarded as an institutional racist. For the current definition differs from the one he fought against. But why bother, the left bloggers are not serious about combating racism; they want to promote it. You might like to check out some of his niece’s speeches. Wonderful woman, but she would not be welcome among UK anarchists. It irritates me when people quote the great Martin Luther King, but would never accept his arguments.

    • Not all mankind, Jay but some who see profit in pain will always find ways to make war.

Only when the profit motive is eradicated will we see some real chance for peace.

  2. Please exercise your right to censor my comment. I am not a troll, not attempting to destroy your vision of a just society. I am just someone with over 50 years opposition to racism, capitalism and authoritarian socialism. Check out my arguments here and anywhere else. They are honest expressions based on a life of political experience – not convenient untruths.

    • I don’t quite see your point- perhaps you could elaborate?

      • With great respect, my point relates to my above comment which has not been published,. It is still awaiting moderation, as you did with another valid argument of mine where I supported US coal miners a short while ago before you removed it. My point was to warn about the misuse of anti-racist arguments..In your post you quoted from Martin Luther King. I pointed out that he would now be regarded as a racist for advocating a society where colour of skin has no role. I mentioned it because you had quoted from the very speech which is now regarded (post MacPherson) as institutionally racist. I wrote my comment with a background of experience of combating institutional racism in the 1960s and 1970s, and noted how the concept has since being distorted in so many left blogs. So maybe instead of shouting racist at all political opponents – whether they are Ukip, tories, tea party, or whatever, left bloggers should meet their arguments.

Furthermore, you won’t discredit UKIP et al by associating them with unsavoury racist political groups. That is bad logic, which is widespread and UKIP are undoubtedly aware of it. Childish really – don’e argue against an opponent, just see a connection between an opponent and something unpleasant and attribute that to your opponent. eg. Hitler was a vegetarian, so all vegetarians must be fascists. Get it. And with misuse of the race card you will just end up by denouncing as racists several million working class people, which is exactly what the main political parties want you to do.

Here is a copy of my original post.

Best wishes to you. I respect what you are doing and wish I had time to discuss these matters in more depth.
