Everyone in Britain should be able to live on the wage they earn

Everyone in Britain should be able to live on the wage they earn. That’s why I’m publicly backing Labour’s plans to raise the minimum wage to £8 an hour for every worker over the next five years.

£8 an hour by 2020? From a man earning-

Annual: GBP 132,387.00

Monthly: GBP 11,032.00

Weekly: GBP 2,647.00

Daily: GBP 529.00

Plus a second home- free- plus expenses.

That’s eff-all now!

I hear lots of oration about a living wage, particularly from Mili-whatsit. Well, Mili-thingy, make the minimum wage a bloody living wage, you twat! If the minimum wage is below a living wage, what’s the effing point?

If the minimum wage is £1 an hour or £8 an hour, below the living wage benefits will be needed to top it up, so it matters little to us.

My argument, Mili-who(?) is this: stop paying the employers and make the employers pay!

  1. You are obviously a very generous person in a privileged position to suggest economic privileges to those with a 2nd home have improvement policies of undisclosed secondary consideration. Personally I am very disappointed on your disclosure of equality values. At last I begin to understand your principles of humanity for all, that is the provision that you have an extra slice of the cake, with a cherry on top. I am now beginning to believe that you are actually Darth Vader an ex confident of Tony Blair & master of Progress , Twice sacked in Government , but never sliced adequately (enough )
