SMILING CARCASS'S TWO-PENNETH

Commenting on social, political, economic and general topics

I was, I think a fascist in my early years. When dad was around, and until I was about 14 years old.

That was my dad’s political opinion; and I was too young, too inexperienced to disagree with him.

I have been a socialist for at least 45 years. I realised, in my first couple of years at work, despite my love for him he was wrong.

I never understood how a man who fought fascists could go on to support them.

But, that was my dad. Still love the old git to bits, and R.I.P.

So, what’s the point of this?

Well, think for yourselves, not your parents or anybody else; be YOU and not your dad’s clone.

I honestly believe, with a free thinking world, we’ll end up with a truly altruistic- possibly socialist- society.
