Income tax; the bane of the working man, is it not: or is it?

Income tax was introduced to fund WWI. A temporary tax, so those brave folks who gave their lives or loved ones who lost their brave family members and friends were led to believe.

But we still pay it today. One could ask, do we still pay it for the wars we fight today, or do we pay it to keep the wealthy in the luxury they are accustomed to?

I have no objection to this tax, save I do not want it to fund wars. I have no objection to this tax IF and only IF it pays for a poor family to be somewhat happier than they might have been.

I have a tendency to love my fellow man, to help him where and when I can. I have tendency to abhorrently dislike my fellow man when he is a war monger, a sabre rattler and capitalist, for capitalism breeds greed, dissent and WAR!

I argue for peace, the redistribution of wealth and the love of your fellow man, however different he is from you; skin colour, culture or religion.

What I really want to say is, why do we hate each other so badly we need to kill each other?

  2. WE all have these thoughts, but Income Tax pays for nothing, That is why BSCAlliance would SCRAP the Tax. Even if you took cash to the IRS they would just record U paid and then Burn the cash. as it is we all pay and our Bank a/c is just marked down. That is why Accountants tell big Companies to avoid tax in Havens.
